Verifying your Facebook Business Account

Verifying your company means verifying it on social. And so getting your companyโ€™s business account verified on the largest social network - Facebook takes priority. While it may seem like a complex process, it is quite easy to achieve if you follow our guidelines below step by step.

Company verification process

If you plan on verifying your company then one of the very first things you need to do is get it verified on Facebook. Once youโ€™ve created an account for your business you can follow the steps below to complete the Facebook Business Verification. Hereโ€™s what you need to do -

3. Selecting the "Business Settings" option on the left navigation bar will bring up a submenu. Then select "Security Centre."

4. Click the 'Start Verification' button.

5. You will be asked to complete the "Business Details" form on the following page.

The following documents are required in order to verify your business on Facebook:

  1. Proof of Legal Name: One of the following will do.

  • Company Incorporation Certificate

  • Business Registration (BR)

  • VAT/Tax Certificate

  1. Address proof, one of the following:

  • Utility Bill (Electricity/Phone bill)

  • Bank Account Statement

A one-time password (OTP) will be provided to you through text, email, or phone call as soon as you have submitted the necessary documentation to Facebook Business Manager for verification. If the verification button is disabled
